At Performance Club Theatre Company, we are dedicated to empowering youth through performance! Our Summer Stock Youth Theater productions offer high quality entertainment at the historic Thalian Hall in the Ruth & Bucky Stein Theatre with cast sizes no larger than 30 members.
We rehearse two weeks prior to tech week; 3 hours/day (depending on your role & cast conflicts) including Saturdays at various locations.
Tech Week is Monday-Thursday 1-7pm (Final Dress is 7pm, Thursday) and our show times are Friday-Sunday at 3pm and 6pm.
Summer Stock Youth Theater is by AUDITION ONLY. You may audition for one, two or all three:
*We accept submissions from 2025 high school graduates prior to attending college in the fall. If you are on the "cusp" of an age requirement, please email us with your request to audition. The dates above include tech move-in dates on Monday. TECH WEEK IS MANDATORY.
The first step is to submit a video!
Please fill out this AUDITION FORM
You may also submit a headshot, resumé, or dance reel if you like to PCTCforKids@gmail.com.
We are always looking for high school & college students to be part of our talented and committed creative teams. Seeking Junior Directors, Choreographers, Music Directors, Stage Managers, Set Designers, Costume Designers and more! If you have a passion for youth theater and want to be part of a supportive and collaborative production, we would love to have you apply! APPLY FOR CREATIVE TEAM
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of individuals and organizations to continue creating and performing great productions. Visit our PCTC page to learn more about how you can make a donation, become a sponsor, or volunteer your time.
Have a question or comment? We'd love to hear from you! Visit our 'Contact Us' page to send us a message, give us a call, or connect with us on social media. We're always happy to chat with you.
Casting workshops allows the creative team to preview and gauge the casts' capabilities in a low-pressure setting. Workshops will cover music, choreography and scene work over a weekend. Workshops allow us to refine the show while providing a theatrical educational experience to the invited participants.
Imagine no stress to learn the combination in minutes, let's mix and match scene partners, and enjoy the casting process..
After the workshop - we will finalize casting and begin rehearsing two weeks prior to tech week based on conflicts. We understand parents want to solidify their summer plans so we aim to cast in spring, distribute materials to the cast so they are familiar with the songs/scenes by the first rehearsal.

BUT FIRST TO BE CONSIDERED - send us a video DEADLINE is March 1, 2025!
Once your child is cast, production support fees are "requested" to cover expenses of the show which are comparable to weekly summer camp fees but the experience of being involved in a production is far more rewarding! Parents can pay on-line in full below or in monthly installments by check payable to Performance Club Kids.
Becoming a volunteer is a great way to support our shows! Whether you are bringing snacks, supervising, or assisting the production team painting, building, sewing OR organizing the Cast Parties, ordering Cast T-shirts, promoting on social media. Your time is greatly appreciated and an asset to the show.
Our programs are distributed at every performance reaching an audience of nearly 2000 attendees! We offer a variety of different ways to support by clicking the link below! Sponsors and AD sales contribute to the opportunity for any youth cast member to participate in summer stock!
We are thrilled to have your child/teen in our summer stock productions! Performance Club Kids and our non-profit arm PCTC “Performance Club Theatre Company” is a premier performing arts company empowering youth through performance! We apply for grants, seek sponsorship, sell advertising and ask parents to provide minimal financial support to cover the costs of the show which for starters begins at $5K for rent and rights alone for each show!
Parents and cast members can sell ads for the program or find sponsors instead of providing financial support. Sponsor logos are featured on posters, banners, programs, and all media associated with the show!
Funding our productions is always our biggest challenge. That's why we established PCTC, the Performance Club Theatre Company, as our nonprofit segment. PCTC is a registered nonprofit organization that underscores our commitment to serving our community and enriching the lives of young individuals in a safe environment that is also highly rewarding!
Thanks to the support of our sponsors and grants through PCTC, no youth performer will ever be denied a role based on financial participation. We are proud to have generated a positive return to pay and attract a professional creative team for the past two decades AND provide opportunities for youth involvement back stage. We can't thank you enough!
